JULY, 2009 CLASS SCHEDULE

Please note that the THERE ARE SEVERAL CLASSES (description and cost at the end of this class schedule) THAT can be taught at any time for one or more people.  All you need to do is arrange a day and a time.

 

 

 

IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION

 

  • Please make reservations for classes no later than one week in advance of scheduled class date.
  • Class fee is due at the time of reservation.  A 24-hour notice is required for class cancellation; registration fees will be refunded in the form of a store credit, IF 24-HOUR NOTICE IS GIVEN.
  • PLEASE plan on arriving at least 30-45 minutes before scheduled class time to pick out your supplies.
  • Four and five hour classes include a lunch break.  Feel free to bring a packed lunch or you can chip in on pizza or other carry-out.

THE DAY OF CLASS

 

Double Chain Bracelet with Beads – Thursday, July 9, 6:00-8:00 pm - $25.00 plus supplies – Katie Mullins –  Make this easy beginning Chain Maille bracelet using the Double Chain pattern and your choice of either 6mm or 8mm glass or gemstone beads.  This is a great introduction to working with jump rings in preparation for learning future Chain Maille weave patterns.  Skill level:  Beginner

                  

                              

 

Beaded Elegance - Friday, July 10, 11:00-1:00 pm; $35.00 plus supplies  -- Sharon Stalnaker -- This bracelet far exceeds its name as it is truly elegant.  One of these cuffs will never be enough – a color for every outfit and your friends will be green with envy.  Skill level:  Beginner

 

                   

 

Fiery Phoenix Feather Earrings – Thursday, July 16, 6:00-9:00 pm -- $35.00 plus supplies - Vicki –  In this class, you will create these fiery Phoenix Feathers with Peyote stitch using a modified Russian Leaf technique.  Skill level:  Intermediate.  Student should be familiar with Peyote stitch, and increasing and decreasing techniques. 

                           

 

St. Petersberg Chain – Saturday, July 18, 10:30-1:30 pm - $35.00 plus supplies – Sharon. Come and learn this beautiful stitch created by a Russian beader many years ago. This design uses seed beads and crystals for a little BLING! Everyone is welcome in this class - beginners and beyond. Many will finish the bracelet by the end of the class. Start thinking about your colors now - there are SO MANY crystal colors to choose from.

 

 

 

Byzantine Bracelet with Beads, Saturday, July 18, 2:00-4:00 pm - $25.00 plus supplies – Katy Mullins.  Learn the favorite Chain Maille weave – Byzantine!  The addition of your choice of 8mm glass or gemstone beads makes it your creation. Skill Level:  Beginner, but must have experience in opening and closing jump rings.

 

                               

 

Wire and Crystal Knit Bracelet – Thursday, July 23, 6:00-9:00 pm; - $35.00 plus supplies – Sharon Hessoun.  Sharon will teach the old but new technique of knitting with a wooden spool.  You will also be able to make necklaces and ankle bracelets with the same technique.  Warning:  This is an addictive bracelet!  Skill level:  Beginner
